Dr. Yousef is Chief of Paediatric Laboratory Medicine and a Professor and Vice-Chair of the Department of Laboratory Medicine at the University of Toronto, Canada.
His research laboratory focuses on kidney and prostate cancer biomarkers using an integrated approach. He has over 250 published research papers and review articles and 15 book chapters. He is the editor of a book on “Molecular Pathology in Cancer.” He is a founding member of the International Scientific Committee of Kallikreins and the International Society of Enzymology. He is the editor-in-Chief of the Canadian Journal of Pathology. He is a member of the Royal Society of Canada, a founding member of the International Scientific Committee of Kallikreins.
